I'm staying at the Hotel Elektor because it's conveniently located, just a few blocks from Rynek Glowny, the main square – and also because they told me that I'd be able to plug my laptop into the phone line. But when I check into my room, I see that the phone is hard-wired into the wall. Which means that I have to trudge down to the front desk to see if they can find me another room.
