A cousin of mine was born in Grajewo in 1918. Perhaps sensing the impending outbreak of war, her father sent her to England in the late 1930's. She tells me that her last memory of Grajewo is the train station, and waving goodbye to her family – whom she never saw again. I took this series of photos of the Grajewo train station in her honor.
