Won a precedent-setting free-speech lawsuit by harnessing the power of the Internet community to stand up to a vicious attack by a corporate bully. He is currently circulating a proposal for a book about the case, which was the subject of the award-winning documentary Taubman Sucks.
Authored two books, one of which is considered to be a standard reference in the field of Artificial Intelligence. He has also written articles for various newspapers and magazines, including a series for a major metropolitan weekly about business uses of the Internet.
